About the Guide

A 50-page wedding guide offered to all newly booked wedding couples of Sarah Bennett Photography with the goal of helping them navigate the planning process and their wedding day with ease.

Why Invest in a Guide as a Photographer?

Sarah wanted to set her couples up to savor their engagement seasons by offering them a comprehensive resource of stress-relieving tips as they began their wedding planning process.

Knowing a photographer is often one of the first vendors booked for a wedding, Sarah knew she had a unique opportunity to be of even greater value to her couples as they began their wedding planning journeys. She wanted to offer her seasoned knowledge and guidance with this comprehensive guide.

About the Client

Sarah Bennett Photography is a “wedding photographer of wandering souls” with an eye for cinematic storytelling. Blending techniques of digital and film, Sarah is an expert in finding the small, sacred details when capturing the moments she knows her couples will want to remember.

As a brand, she carries a present, down-to-earth, and in-awe tone, prioritizing the connection she holds with her couples and her work.

It was imperative that a guide she’d hand over to her newly booked couples would reflect the same authentic care.

How it Worked

I conducted the research, pulled from Sarah’s years of experience, and took on the voice of Sarah’s brand to provide the copy for this comprehensive guide using a Canva template purchased from Dawn Photo and Maggie Murray Creative.

Each page contains easy-to-follow content written with a present-focused tone to embody the approachability of Sarah’s brand.

The design of each page was adjusted and refined to serve the content, making it easy to engage and digest, and setting up Sarah’s photography to shine throughout.
