Self-awareness is a dry pill to swallow, but it’s necessary to evolve past our wounds, hangups, and, in the words of Brene Brown, “the stories we tell ourselves.” We humans are biologically wired for connection, and according to researchers, we all have an attachment style that begins in childhood and bleeds into our adult relationships without us even realizing it.
